The PBJ-1J “Mitchell” flew into Camarillo from Midland, Texas in April, 1993.

After inspection, the aircraft was put into our long restoration process, and at the conclusion this “Mitchell” is as brand-new as it was when it came off the assembly line.

The B-25 Mitchell is painted in the colors of a Marine Corps PBJ-1J, named “Semper Fi” with Globe and Anchor painted on the starboard nose.

the CAF’s Spitfire N749DP was built at the Aldermaston factory in Berkshire, England and then delivered to the Royal Air Force. The aircraft was shipped to Karachi, India in July 1945 to serve with the RAF's Southeast Asia Command (SEAC) squadrons. Rendered surplus following Japan's surrender in August 1945, it was placed in storage and sold to the Indian Air Force in late 1947. In 1978, it was rediscovered and transported to England by the Hayden-Bailey brothers. The CAF’s A6M3 Zero, N712Z, was initially delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy’s Air Group #3. Recovered from Babo, New Guinea, in 1991, it underwent partial restoration in Russia using components from various A6M3s before being brought to the U.S. for final completion. It was re-registered in 1998 and displayed at the Santa Monica Museum of Flying until it was acquired by the CAF and assigned to the Southern California Wing. Now airworthy, it operates with a Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engine instead of its original Nakajima Sakae engine.
