    Our staff & volunteers CAF members regularly and generously donate both their time and money to support the mission of the Commemorative Air Force. Let the CAF Buckeye Wing benefit from your knowledge and experience! Whether you are an accountant, teacher, mechanic or pilot, the Buckeye Wing can put your unique talents to good use. There are many opportunities to volunteer, including airshows and events.

    Our history Collecting aircraft for nearly a half a century, the CAF now ranks as one of the largest air forces in the world. Today the CAF has approximately 13,000 members and a fleet of more than 175 aircraft representing more than 60 different types—including planes from several foreign countries and other military conflicts since World War II. The Headquarters of the CAF is located in Dallas. Founded in 2022, the CAF Buckeye Wing was established to recognize the crucial role that Ohio has played in aviation history while offering local members the opportunity to support the CAF mission and its growing air force.
