CAF Ramps Up Communication Efforts
Dallas, TX, March 27, 2020 - While everyone is practicing social distancing, many are also finding the true value of social media. “The virtual experience cannot take the place of attending an airshow in person, but the marketing team has a responsibility to try,” said CAF VP of Marketing Leah Block. For an organization which touts the tagline “get your hands on history,” we’ve got our work cut out for us.”
The CAF is using this time to share valuable content from its digital vault. For years, the CAF has collected thousands of photos and videos of aircraft, events, and historical footage in order to document the organization’s mission in action. “It is actually very special that we can share this content with the world. Much of it is highly relevant and impactful to a wide audience. Especially when we look at the oral testimonial videos we’ve taken with our veterans, who often speak to what it was like to sacrifice above self, do with what they had, and the importance of coming together as a nation. It’s actually very chilling to watch now.”
