2022 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Show Schedule Release
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (last updated July 6, 2022) —Some of the world’s top air show performers have made commitments to fly at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 – the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration – as part of the afternoon and night air shows. The 69th Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in convention, scheduled for July 25-31 at Wittman Regional Airport will have military aerial demonstrations for the 75th Anniversary of the U.S. Air Force. AirVenture features nine air shows over seven days, including night airshows on July 27 and 30.
The daily afternoon air shows are presented by Daher and Pratt & Whitney, while the Wednesday, July 27, night air show and fireworks are presented by Covington Aircraft and Saturday, July 30, night air show and fireworks are presented by WACO Aircraft Corporation.
Warbirds In Review Preceding the daily presentations at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the Warbirds Living History Group re-enactors will do an educational talk/demonstration regarding the flight gear associated with the upcoming aircraft. Singers will also provide entertainment from the 1940s-1960s just prior to actual Warbirds in Review sessions. All Vietnam veterans in attendance will be recognized before each session, and book signing opportunities will follow in the Warbirds Merchandise Building.

Additional demonstrations are expected to be added as well. EAA AirVenture afternoon air shows begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. July 25-30 and 1 p.m. on July 31. Night air shows on July 27 and 30 begin at approximately 8 p.m.
Registration now open for Pilot Proficiency Center sessions during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022
Half-day sessions include top flight instructors in new EAA Education Center
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (June 22, 2022) — Registration is now open to the expanded Pilot Proficiency Center sessions during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, to be held in the new EAA Education Center adjacent to the EAA Aviation Museum. These half-day clinics allow pilots to increase their knowledge, hone their abilities, and network with other passionate pilots while helping them become safer and better-informed aviators.
The 69th edition of the Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in convention is July 25-31 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh. Registration for the Pilot Proficiency Center clinics is free with AirVenture admission, but attendance at each half-day session is limited, so early registration is encouraged. More information and course requirements are available at the Pilot Proficiency Center webpage.
Participants may choose from any one of the sessions that fit their current pilot certificate, rating, or homebuilt aircraft project. Subjects range from flying fundamentals and risk factors to instrument flight and homebuilt test flying. The clinics include keynote presentations, interactive and engaging breakout sessions, skills enhancement, and challenging scenario-based training exercises in EAA’s Redbird Advanced Aviation Training Devices. A pick-up breakfast is included with each morning session and lunch with each afternoon session.
EAA Pilot Proficiency Center clinics are presented by Redbird Flight Simulations, Jeppesen, BOSE Aviation, Hartzell Engine Technologies, Hartzell Propeller, and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA). Additional support comes from CloudAhoy, Community Aviation, Mindstar Aviation, the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), and the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE).
