Sponsorship Opportunities for World War II Heritage Days
PEACHTREE CITY, GA (Aug. 20, 2022) – The 18th annual World War II Heritage Days is just around the corner, with a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available to honor the memory of “The Greatest Generation.” This year’s event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 at CAF Airbase Georgia, 1200 Echo Ct., adjacent to Atlanta Regional Airport – Falcon Field, Peachtree City, Ga. “Sponsorship shows your support and interest in preserving the memories of the heroes of the Greatest Generation, while helping to encourage younger generations to seek careers in aviation,” said Airbase Leader Joel Perkins.
A Platinum ($5,000) sponsorship includes rides in the Dauntless SBD Dive Bomber (1) or LT-6 trainer (2), a 10’x10’ tent to promote your business, website exposure, mention in Airbase Georgia’s social media (40,000 followers), and display of your banner or sign.
Gold ($2,500) sponsorships receive a 10’x10’ tent to promote your organization, website exposure, mention in Airbase Georgia social media (40,000 followers), and display of your banner or sign.
Silver ($1,000) sponsors will have a 10’x10’ tent to promote your business, mention in social media (40,000 followers), and display of your banner or sign.
Bronze ($500) sponsors will have a 10’x10’ tent to promote your organization.
The one-day event will offer visitors an opportunity to explore the important historical transition from WWII to the space age and enjoy a vintage car show, costume contest, warbird rides, demonstrations, food vendors and a 1940s victory dance.
The day-time activities run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a celebration swing dance in the hangar, with music until 7 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to dress in their favorite World War II or space-age attire to enjoy the day and the dance and to be eligible for costume contest prizes. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 11-17. Children 10 and under are free. Advance tickets are available online at airbasegeorgia.org.
