Airbase Arizona Welcomes Middle Tennessee State University Students

Mesa, Arizona (March 19, 2022) via FaceBook - Last summer, CAF Airbase Arizona's B-17 Sentimental Journey made a tour stop in Tennessee and was visited by faculty and students from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) studying forensic aviation archeology. They were preparing for an important mission that could result in the recovery of some U.S. aircrew remains lost in crash sites during World War II.

The group was so impressed with the value of studying the touring B-17 Flying Fortress to inform their work that they requested a visit to CAF Airbase Arizona based in Mesa, just outside of Phoenix, where they could bring students to learn even more! So March 9-12 MTSU students visited for a highly-detailed educational experience, and MTSU faculty leader, Professor Tiffany Saul, delivered a couple of eye-opening presentations to members and museum visitors as well!
