The New Day Camp Allows Students to Learn Life Skills, Explore History
WHAT: The Aerospace Summer Camp provides campers – students entering grades 4-7 – with hands-on activities and experiences that will get them excited about history, science, technology, engineering and math. Students will learn real-life skills and problem-solving by exploring the connection between history and STEaM from World War II through today.
WHO: The Aerospace Summer Camp is offered by the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center (NAEC). The NAEC is dedicated to education with the mission to honor the past and empower the future. Located at Dallas Executive Airport, the 47,000 square foot facility provides learning opportunities for all ages and programs that inspire and foster the development of 21st century employable job skills and career paths.
WHEN: Aerospace Summer Camp hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the following weeks. Extended before-care and after-care hours are available. • June 21-25 • July 12-16 • July 19-23 • Aug. 2-6
