FREE Educational resources for Black History Month
January 20, 2021, Red Wing, MN- Black History Month runs February 1- March 1. The Tuskegee Airmen, America’s first black military pilots, are best known for the extraordinary efforts in the air war of World War II and for challenging stereotypes. Learn about the history and let the Tuskegee Airmen and their aircraft inspire you to rise above!
During difficult times it is instructive to look back and learn from others who have triumphed in the face of adversity. For education leaders, it is especially important to support the social-emotional health of students, families, and staff.
CAF Rise Above is pleased to offer free resources that may serve as a means to inspire others to RISE ABOVE obstacles in their own lives. The lessons learned from the Tuskegee Airmen help to ignite and bolster others to set goals and work towards achieving them. The Commemorative Air Force® RISE ABOVE® Back-to-School Campaign was designed by several organizations and volunteers to provide resources and tools to help schools inspire students to triumph in the face of adversity of COVID.
