2019 CAF Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow Recap
World War II Themed Airshow and Military Reenactment Returns for Action-Packed Weekend at Dallas Executive Airport
November 1, 2019, Dallas – The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) held the 4th annual CAF Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow on Oct. 25-25, 2019 at Dallas Executive Airport. The event attracted more than 10,000 visitors from 11 different countries and 23 states. CAF’s media team gathered thousands of photos and hours of video, some of which was posted live from the event. On Facebook alone more than 1.6 million people checked out the images/videos from the show.
Attendees were treated to spectacular flying demonstrations, battle reenactments, World War II veteran appearances, living history encampments, hands-on family activities, aircraft rides, cockpit tours and more. This year brought a unique gathering of Navy aircraft including a formation flight with an FG-1D Corsair, SBD Dauntless, FM2 Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, and F8F Bearcat.
