Ready 4 Duty taking off on her transatlantic journey, flying past the Statue of Liberty. R4D is one of the aircraft participating in the Navy to Victory Tour. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the aircraft is making its way from Texas to Europe.

While on tour,* Ready 4 Duty* is displaying a collection of unique artifacts from a dozen surviving U.S. World War II warships—aircraft carriers, battleships, and destroyers—brought together in one place for the first time since the end of the Second World War.

You can keep up with R4D's journey to Europe here. Also, follow them on social media.
