CAF Capital Wing TBM Avenger is Back in the Air
Culpeper, VA (August 27,2024) - After several months of maintenance, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Capital Wing announced that their assigned TBM Avenger, known as Dorris Mae is back in flight status. Following successful flight tests, the Avenger is rejoining the Capital Wing's 2024 Tour at several cities in the Mid-Atlantic Coast. The Wing members and crew are thrilled to have the TBM back in action.
This is your chance to experience a flight in the largest and heaviest single-engine bomber of World War II. This is a rare opportunity to feel the power and history of this iconic aircraft firsthand.
Here are some of the upcoming tour dates and events that you can purchase a ride on the TBM Avenger :

- October 26-27, 2024 – Culpeper, VA (Warbird Showcase)
